Writing Disaster

If an important event or disaster occurred. the writing steps are as follows:


1. Check the number of death toll or injured people. If it is ferry disaster, check to the autorithy concerned the number of passangers on boat.

2. start the first paragraph with the tally:

ex:

A ferry with some 350 people on board, that left Jakarta bound for Bangka island caught fire in the bay of Jakarta early on Thursday, the western armada said.

3. the second para is related to the incidente: what-when-where and from whom the information is obtained

The Levina I ro-ro ferry, caught fire between 5:20 and 6:00 am (2220-2300 GMT Wednesday) some 50 miles from Jakarta's Tanjung Priok harbour or some six miles east of the Beting Eka reef, said Suratman from the Western Fleet information office.
